puppy1.png Your animal companion, like you, should receive at least one health check-up every year.  This will include a total physical exam, with a thorough investigation of your pet from head to tail.  If any vaccinations are due, they will be administered on this visit if your pet is healthy.  If we find that your animal friend is suffering from any illness, we will  help you decide on the best course of diagnosis and treatment.

Take notes on things like your pet's elimination habits and any physical changes or unusual events you have noticed. Keep track of persistent changes in your companion's daily activities, including urinary and fecal habits, behavior changes, and appetite. These seemingly unrelated occurrences will help the veterinarian make an accurate diagnosis.

If your animal companion has a condition that is more advanced than what we can provide service for, we can refer you to a specialist if necessary.  Some common veterinary specialties include:

  • ophthalmology (eyes)
  • dermatology (skin)
  • cardiology (heart)
  • orthopedics (bone surgery)
  • neurology (nervous system)
  • rehabilitation (physiotherapy)
  • oncology (cancer therapy)
